Bridges of Faith Romania
Mediaș, Romania
Our trip to Romania primarily works to serve Ukrainians. Working with fantastic individuals there, we are drawn to orphan outreach and building those relationships. We also spend time accomplishing physical tasks to support the work of our partners in Romania, including preparing a trauma center for Ukrainian refugees. Recently, we’ve also partnered with Bridges of Faith Romania to provide 20,000 waterproof Ukrainian Bibles.

In Romania, we are working alongside both Romanians and Ukrainians, so there are several different dynamics differences in culture. Also, because of the war, things can change very quickly. Our goal is to meet the needs of the children and refugees.

If a team member becomes seriously ill, they will be taken to a local doctor to receive appropriate medical attention and medications. If they are a minor, thee Team Leader will accompany them to the clinic. Their parents will be contacted. Their recovery will be carefully monitored by our team leader.
If there is an accident that requires a doctor, but is not life-threatening and does not have the potential to cause permanent damage, SELAH Outreach will contact parents or guardians (providing the injured is a minor), and provide safe but quick transportation to a local clinic.
In the event that an accident occurs which is life-threatening or has the potential for permanent damage, emergency medical care will be secured and arrangements will be made if necessary, to transport the injured person to hospitals in Romania as quickly as possible. The family will be contacted immediately to assist in guidance for an appropriate response.

Big Creek Missions - Wheelwright
Floyd County, Kentucky
Big Creek Missions serves communities in rural Kentucky with service acts ranging from construction to Christ-centered relationship-building. Our hope is to connect with the members of that community and bring God’s love through teen outreach activities, community engagement, and children’s programs.
-
When your group serves in Wheelwright, you’re joining a story that’s bigger than a service project. You’ll:
· Build lasting relationships with local families.
· Meet urgent needs in practical, meaningful ways.
· Share the Gospel with those who are lost.
· Disciple believers eager to grow in faith.
What type of mission work would your team do?
Each team member individually chooses one of three primary ministry areas, all designed to make a real difference while serving Jesus and others:
· Construction Ministry: Help repair and restore homes that may seem beyond repair—building ramps, replacing floors and roofs, fixing plumbing, HVAC, electric, windows, doors, & showing Christ’s love through compassionate hard work.
· Community Ministry: Visit the elderly, serve with partner ministries, clothe families, and share encouragement with those facing hardship. You might package and deliver hundreds of meals, offer prayer and companionship, and bring hope to hurting neighbors.
· Children’s Ministry: Lead exciting, Christ-centered day camps for local kids. Your team will help plan and run activities that are high-energy, creative, and full of love—giving children a safe, joyful space to learn and grow.
Each area offers unique ways to serve, but every one points hearts toward Jesus.
